Now Hiring: Beertender at Shine Beer Sanctuary

SHINE is a beer hall, bottle shop, and kitchen in downtown Bozeman, and for the first time we’re opening a beertender position to applicants outside our team. We’re looking for someone who loves beer, loves people, and knows how to hustle on a busy night.

Interviews will be held October 19–25.

What we’re looking for

• Beer industry experience (bartending, taproom, brewery, distribution, or bottle shop)
• Real hospitality: you make guests feel welcome and enjoy helping them find the right beer
• Hustle. You stay on top of your bar, keep things moving, and jump in wherever the team needs you
• Curiosity about beer styles, breweries, and what’s new on tap

Availability requirements

• Full time with a 3 shifts per week minimum
• Open to both daytime and night shifts
• Available to work through the Christmas holidays
• Able to attend team meetings and monthly beer education

What you’ll do

• Pour draft beer properly, recommend beers, and guide guests through tastings and flights
• Run tabs and transactions through our Toast POS
• Change kegs, keep the bar, keg room, and glassware clean, and restock during shifts
• Check IDs and serve responsibly
• Perform all opening and closing duties.

Physical requirements

• On your feet for a full shift
• Able to lift and move kegs and cases of beer
