Cribbage Tournament Rules and Information

When is it?

Monthly. Sign-up runs 5-6pm, tournament starts at 6pm sharp.

How much does it cost?

$10, cash only.

Is there a limit on players?

Nope, open sign-up.

Do I need a partner?

If you’ve got one, great — get your game going. If not, check in at the registration table and we’ll pair you up with your first opponent.

What do I need to bring?

Nothing, but you can BYO board and cards if you’d rather use your own. We’ve got boards, pegs, and cards on hand either way. If you and your partner both have Shine boards, drop one off at sign-in so other players can use it.

How does the tournament work?

4 games total, against a different opponent each round.

Do you play with muggins?

No muggins.

How is scoring tracked?

After each game, record on your scorecard:

• Game points — skunk (3), win (2), loss (0)
• Spread — how much you won or lost by

Get your opponent’s initials, initial theirs, then bring your card to the registration table.

Cards without the player’s initials will not be counted.

What’s the deadline to turn in scorecards?

9pm.

What if I need a partner mid-tournament?

Same deal — registration table will help you find your next opponent.

Prize

First place winner splits the pot 50/50 with KGLT. The winner will be contacted the next day to collect the prize.
